Tony Kwiatkowski, Director

Welcome to the TRiO family! As the director of the program I am responsible for the oversight of the entire program and working with the Department of Education to assure we meet required standards. I also work closely with the student workers to put on social events, leadership workshops and financial education.

Katie Cosmano, 

Academic Advisor

My name is Katie Cosmano, As a college advisor my role is to help you navigate campus policies and procedures, curriculum, and degree requirements. We will work together to explore career and transfer opportunities to help you create personal and academic goals. Based on those goals, we will create an individualized education plan that outlines a clear path towards graduation and transfer.

Percy Austin, 

Academic Support Specialist

As your Academic Coach, I am here to support you. My role includes exploring and discussing your LASSI results, and providing strategies and tips for college success, including note-taking, time management, and test-taking. We will also discuss career decisions, practice interviewing skills, and work on your resume and cover letter. I am dedicated to assisting you in achieving your academic and career goals.

Lesley Williams, English Tutor

My name is Lesley and I am your English reading and writing tutor. Whether it's that final research paper for English or poli sci; or the personal statement essay for your transfer application, I am available to help you at any stage of the process. You can also email me a paper or other project you are having difficulty with.

Martha Galarza, Clerical Assistant

My name is Martha Galarza, as the Clerical Assistant at TRIO and Access Center, my primary responsibility is to provide administrative support to staff and students to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks. I also have a great knowledge of the Truman campus and I also build connections with students by providing mentorship and support.
